This repair takes about 1 hour to complete and micro soldering is required to attach the new port into the motherboard. Some phones have soldered on ports and some have daughter boards that can be removed separately and replaced.

This week in micro soldering repairs we came across a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 GT-P5210 that had its battery replaced and the battery connector was loose. This was a result of a failed attempt of a DIY battery replacement. After getting the motherboard under the microscope we noticed all the pins were de-soldered from the board and needed micro soldering to re-attach them. Hot air would not be suitable in this situation due to the close proximity of plastic and other smd components.
We were able to capture the repair on video to show the whole process that was performed during this micro soldering repair service which took less than 15mins from start to finish.
