How to remove iPhone/iPad from your iCloud account

Are you looking to sell your idevice? You will need to remove it from your apple account and/or iCloud account before the next person can use it for any purpose. We made an easy guide just for you!

How to remove your iPhone/iPad/iDevice from your iCloud/Apple account:

Go to www.icloud.com

  • Login with same credentials used on the apple device.

Click on "Find My iPhone"

  • Click on the "All Devices" drop-down

Then click on the device(s) you wish to remove from you account

  • Click" Remove from Account" (Then also click "Remove" again on the pop-up window to confirm)

Removing the device from your account will release the device attached to your credentials. This may allow it to be used again and/or be activated if needed as well as protect any information that you may have on the device.
